On November 15th, at the One Roof Community Centre (ORCC) on Brock Street, Soroptimist International Peterborough (SIP) donated gift bags to One Roof clients. These bags were filled by SIP members and include items such as socks, gloves, water bottles, Tim Hortons gift cards, hygiene products etc.  The bags were delivered by President Dorothy MacDonald, Julie Bell and Marney Horton and Andrew MacGregor from ORCC was there to receive the bags on the 15^th.

“On behalf of the staff and community of One Roof Community Centre, I’d like to express my sincerest gratitude to the Soroptimist club and to all the extended community. I am continuously overwhelmed by the love and support that is expressed by generosity to ORCC and our community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all,” said MacGregor.

Bags were also distributed to PARN – Your Community AIDS Resource Network and will be delivered  to Elizabeth Fry at a later date.

Previous anniversary events included a cheque presentation to 5 local agency partners on October 1^st at the Ashburnham Memorial Park and a member celebration social on September 12^th.  Soroptimist International Peterborough is celebrating 75 years in the community and the 100^th anniversary of our global organization.
