Soroptimist International, headquartered in Cambridge, England, has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council at the United Nations and is a recognized authority on matters that women value most. Soroptimist International of the Americas
Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, comprises 28 regions with more than members in approximately 1,300 clubs in 21 countries. This is the federation to which SI Peterborough (SIP) belongs and we are part of the Eastern Canada Region. SIP was Chartered on November 17th, 1945.

Soroptimist International Africa Federation
Soroptimist International Africa Federation (SIAF) was inaugurated in June 30 2020. The newest member to join Soroptimist International, making the global organization 5 Federations strong! Connie Mutunhu is elected the first President of Soroptimist International Africa Federation (SIAF), taking on the position for the 2020-2022 Biennium.
