PARISIAN CAFE FUNDRAISING EVENT
In August of 2025 a small group of SIP volunteers held a Parisian Cafe event. The venue was provided by Elizabeth, a member of SI Peterborough (SIP). The team raised over $1000 which will be used to support our signature programs (Live Your Dream & Dream It Be It) for women and girls. One of our the guests sent this email after the event:
Just a note to say you gals and Soroptimist members organized an extraordinary lovely event today. I have nothing to compare it to your other events but I hope you were delighted with the results. It is obvious a huge amount of planning and organization was behind it all. The setting, the welcome cocktail, the over-the-top presentation of the yummy ‘delights’ and the gathering of so many friends together was A+. Pass along my compliments to all involved.
