THE EVENT

The Soroptimist International Peterborough, past Presidents, formed the 80th Anniversary planning committee. Catalina Malin was the Chair of the Committee. Members, friends, partners and the community were invited to the celebration which was held on September 27th 2025.

80 Acts/Gifts of Kindness

• • We wanted to create something meaningful that everyone can take part in, even if you are unable to attend the event.
  • After thoughtful discussion, the committee has chosen to call this initiative “80 Gifts of Kindness.”
  • Members were asked to reflect on one or more Gifts of Kindness that they have done, or plan to do, for someone else.
  • These were read at the 80th Anniversay event on September 27th, 2025.

We continued the celebration at our November Business Meeting.  Looking forward to another 80+ years in Peterborough.
