On August 5, Soroptimist Peterborough members Lisa Lowry & Terri Geerinck did a Dream It Be It (DIBI) afternoon with Peterborough Canopy Support Services *at their FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) day camp. The participants created dream boards and thought about their futures, learned about goal setting and how to overcome some challenges they face. It was a wonderful afternoon! #Soroptimist #dreamitbeit

* The FASD program strives to provide support and community connections to children and youth with FASD and their caregivers. At Canopy, the FASD coordinators work directly with the child/youth and their caregiver to set goals, connect with & advocate for other services in the community, and foster parent-to-parent connections. The FASD Program works in the community to provide education & support strategies and collaborates with partner agencies to provide wrap-around support.
